Indeed! Yah, the green is a vintage 1954 that historic makeovers did for me. When I purchased the guitar it was already a refin and had an ebony board with super busy inlays. It had been through some stuff in its life. I’ve had Kim at HM do a few for me so went for a color I’ve always wanted after seeing a 52 refin Billy squire had. Almost the same green. Naturally, a new board.
Daaaamn. Great that you didn't remove the P90's or wraptail bridge, and that green.... One of the best things I've seen. Does the colour have a name, or was it a one off thing?

Man, ty. P90's are my fav all day, every day. So, Kim found me the green I was after like a champ. Photos attached. I believe we chose 293 as the amber coat would darken it a bit.

Couldn't agree more on P90's.

Hmm, I'm never touching the original gold on my 55, but if I ever get a replica built, that's what I'm going to try and recreate! Did you make a thread on that guitar?

Man, amen. The early gold is so good. I have not created a thread. New to the forums and figured I’d start my life here asking help and questions first. But, open to it if you feel it’s valuable. I respect this motley crew of misfits!

If you have the time and energy to do a thread on it, I would love that! Solid coloured LP's, especially with P90's, are the coolest guitars IMHO. And they are too rare! :)

The conversion stacks up just fine! 3 legged dog and all. I get the ethics of it. Fun to be around some of this gear. I suppose I’ll posit a video playing these guys soon enough. Stay rad yall. If near the Emerald Coast, come hang. The water is fine.
