• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Why is there now Arlington guitar show thread? Where is @4string when you need him (and his pictorial reporting)?

My take from Saturday: it was about 1/3 of the show it used to be: only the main hall was open. Gibson, Fuller, Dave Rogers, TW59 and many others absent. Present were: Abalone Vintage (nice display of doublenecks), Terry Mueller, Detlef (Guitarpoint) , Guitar Maniacs, to name a few.

Any Forum members there?

I wondered myself. Too many members have moved on, I guess. I wasn’t able to attend this year but maybe next year. Was Tom W there?

He didn't have a booth, and my attendance was confined to Saturday morning, so I can't tell. I miss his expertise and generosity in sharing 'Burst experiences at events and here at the Forum

I was there on Saturday. I really missed the big boys like Gibson and Fender, but it was great to be back amongst fellow guitar obsessives!

Pretty sure he wasn't there. But he was at the Dallas show in May. Great to catch up with him (and his 3d guitar porn) again!

Unable to attend due to a combination scheduling conflict and family emergency. Ed Driscol posted a video from the show. Looks like a good turnout of both dealers and attendees. A 20 minute video here:

Thanks for the mention! Here’s the new video, for “one-stop shopping” purposes:

The account TW59 doesn't exist as member here anymore when I tried a search. What happened to him? He had great LP knowledge and was always willing to share.
