• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I am going to buy a 40th Les Paul 1999 aged by Tom for Vintage world. After searching from this forum and google, I found 2 types of Tom's letters.

Can anyone tell me which one is real or fake?

Millions thanks for all of your kindness.

they both look genuine to me, but different than each other (for different guitars). Do they both have the same serial # ?

Thank you, Chef. I feel save to buy it. Just confuse about the border line in their letter.

Now I found another one from Vintage world selling on ebay. There is TM signed on both Gibson's COA and Guitar preservation letter. I understand that for all VW series, there is no TM signed on Gibson's COA. He should sign on his preservation letter only.

Please again help me understand in correct way. Thank you very much.
