• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Sounds great and really nice playing.

I've got a Viking Deluxe but later fitted a Bigsby so a very similar guitar. I fitted Burstbuckers I had spare from a Les Paul but amazingly the tone of the Hagstrom pickups really isn't very different! I switched out all the electrics too while I was at it because they're small alpha pots - a slightly tricky job but I had nothing else to do in lockdown. It really is a great playing guitar and one of the most stable ones I have too.

I have to say I am really impressed with how good the pickups are on this guitar. It is very high quality and very well designed.
