• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Harrison/Clapton Lucy bites it...see if you wince too

Having scrolled threads about Get Back in multiple guitar and recording forums, everybody did. I know when I was watching Part I of Get Back for the first time on Friday morning, I very audibly screamed "AHHHH!!!!!!" when that guitar tumbled.

Yeah, I was shocked. I'm glad it landed on it's butt and avoided a headstock break.

John Lennon's reaction was classic. "A guitar fell over Paul, a guitar fell over!" :D

I just saw that the other night. That whole Twickingham situation was a mess. Harrison getting shocks from his mic. Geezz. I had no idea that their new manager was so bad. What a shame.

Maybe it was his amp, but Lucy did not sound all that great.

The Band look almost as fed up being in the film as I am watching it...almost.

Thin gruel.
To those who have seen it - is it any good?

Massive Beatles fan here, and I thought ‘They shall not grow old’ was fantastic.

Is it worth getting Disney+ just for that series?

I saw a post on FB yesterday pointing out the changes on George's Rocky strat over the course of the filming. On Friday, it had no writing on it, and by Monday, it had BeBopALooBob written on the top. He was busy.

I watched 2- 1 was gone already. I watched- and I watched- and I watched- and it still has another 1 hr to go.
The only thought worth sharing really is they were ready to be done being the Beatles.
Clever lads for sure.

I gave up an hour into episode 2...simply got better things to do than to watch people playing silly buggers to the camera.

Here's the rooftop gig, the business end of all the pissing about.

There I've saved you a subscription and 5 1/2 hours of your life.

Compared to the Let It Be film this is a good view into their workings and sculpting of their songs, a better view of their interaction overall.
As a fan I was really pleased to see this, a lot cheerier and spontaneous than the somewhat dreary Let It Be.

This clip of George holding Lucy while Paul is working on creating one of my favorite Beatle songs...even greatness can get a little boring.
