Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
Read it on a Facebook page of one of his friends. Does anyone have any information on Dan's passing? I know he lived in St. Louis MO. Talented blues guy. Sorry to hear this news.
Damn. He was one of the guys who I enjoyed reading very much when I joined the forum back than. I noticed he was on a longer forum hiatus, but he recently was back posting and was very enthusiastic about he newly aquired LP Special. I thought he was well. Very sad to hear about his passing.
Very sorry to hear, Dan was a great player and very schooled on old school blues tone. I remember the videos of him playing his conversion through a 60ies BFDR, what an awsome sound he had!
God bless him........his knowledge of all things Blues and Clapton in particular kept many threads going for me over the years.......sadly missed.
Rest in Peace Dan,
When I mentioned that I knew Dan from the Forum one of his Facebook friends indicated that according to Dan’s sister Dan suffered a massive heart failure.
