• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Help me pick a Historic ......

That budget will get you practically any new R9 from Mark's Guitar Loft. Maybe reach out to him to get one that checks all the boxes?

Agree with Tim Plains. I'd just watch Mark's until the right one appears.

So was the turnpike from Stockbridge to Boston
The Berkshires seemed dream-like on account of that frosting
With ten miles behind me and ten thousand more to go........ "

what is a barbeque top?

that's a top which is comprised of both vertical and horizontal uniform straight grain lines which are oriented exactly 90 degrees from each other and are equidistant resembling the grill top of a barbeque

to me it looks like crap

I’ve had such great success with Breaze guitars. He really handpicks nothing but great guitars and knows what a good one is. No affiliation BTW.
