Hey guys, you've probably gone thru this drill, but I'm in the hunt for a burst RI. First of all are there any years to avoid from a quality standpoint? How do the various years compare in regard to exact duplication of the originals? I have seen early RI's -1985. How do these compare to the newer 1999 - 2000 years?

Obviously, each guitar has it's own feel and personality, but I am trying to become an "informed" shopper. I just sold my 91 classic, so I'm getting to the point where my wallet is ready to open up. What should I expect to pay? I know the Murphy's are expensive. I'm looking for a nice nonMurphy flame burst top.

Thanks
Earl
