• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

How about a little vintage Fender love?

Gorgeous guitar - Shoreline Gold is such a cool, kind of understated color. As usual, the photo knocks it out of the park...

I guess I'll be the first to post something that's not a funny color...

Mid-'54 and the end of the Blackguard era:

Always coveted Shoreline Gold...only handled one that had about 80% of its finish. Badass color.

Somewhat related, last week I was at Mike's Music in Cincinnati and saw many cool vintage Fenders. Including a very worn Shoreline Gold Strat..

The pics aren't that great, but here's a refinished 64 i picked up that used to belong to Ronnie Earl. There's a few signatures on the back :peace2
