Ok so I got a vintage Lifton case off ebay for 100 bucks!!! However, its for a saxophone! I thought my kid would dig it!. The case is a bit dry what can I use to protect it and add some moisture to it? Sorry for posting this here but this is the only place I thought I would get a response. Thanks.

I use a leather conditioner from the auto section of just about any store. Seems to work well without getting overly glossy and smells great!

Actually, Armorall is a wax based product and will dry out the vinyl and cause it to crack over time.

I'll second this.

I have witnessed enough cracked, crumbling auto dashboards that have been destroyed over time by Armor All usage such that I'd never recommend it for anything.

The best way to 'moisturize' this case is with oil based hide care products. These will soften the case covering to prevent cracking, and retard moisture intrusion (and the degradation brought with it) at the same time.

+1 Not to mention I've owned a few LP's that the previous owner Armor Alled the case and it leaves the case feeling slimy. Kinda like trying to catch a greased pig; and on load ins and load outs of the trailer slippery things SUCK! Not to mention the residue it leaves on your hands.

The sludge on the floors in places I sometimes play keeps mine nice and moist.
