• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I have the three best Les Pauls made since 1960. The 2001 Oxblood was the Victoria Amp shop guitar for 15 years. It can run with ANY 50's Les Paul and often blows them out of the water. The 2014 R8 is the most powerful and longest sustaining Les Paul I've ever played. It has 1980 Seymour Duncan '59's and weighs just 8lbs even. The '92 has gold/double white Jimmy Wallace PAF's that he personally gave to me and a neck that plays like warm butter.

Warm butter? Sounds messy
I tend to get real excited playing that one! The neck is very slim and spot on to a real '59 that I have access to playing. I suppose it's more of like a maglev train flowing over brilliantly slick rosewood. Trains and guitars always go hand in hand... Yeah warm butter sounds... weird, not sure what made me say that! HA
