I always like to get my self something to cheer me up after surgeries. I grabbed a sweet Tweed Super clone and it seems too me I need a new Tele to go with it. I have a powerful hankering for a faded sonic blue Baja Tele.

I love my blackguard Baja and this new 60's rosewood version has gotten my attention. Anyone have one?

Sonic Blue and rosewood does make for a sexy beast. I have a Twisted Tele pickup in my Baja based partscaster, and they rawk pretty hard. My problem is with the neck, if Leo had intended for me to play a larger neck with a 9.5” radius he wouldn’t have made so many great smaller necks with a 7.25”…

My 53 and 55 Tele's had much bigger necks than the Baja. A flatter radius doesn't necessarily mean bigger or wider, just flatter on top. The Baja Blackguard I have has a medium thick soft v profile that is very comfortable and similar to the Jimmy Vaughn Tex Mex Strat I equally like. Have you played any Baja'a? The Series/Parallel and phase switching make for my most versatile axe. Yeah, I wish I never saw that Sonic Blue Rosewood fingerboard Tele, it, it…, it was mesmerizing!!!:teeth
