• THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING! We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and recently moved to a new hosting platform. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
  • Please support our Les Paul Forum Sponsors with your business - Gary's Classic Guitars, Wildwood Guitars, Chicago Music Exchange, Reverb.com, Throbak.com and True Vintage Guitar. From personal experience doing business with all of them, they are first class organizations. Thank you!

I told my wife that I wasn't buying any more guitars and she laughed and laughed...

I had the ‘59 in the neck of a PRS Santana II. I haven’t tried the other ones, but I generally like Seymour Duncan’s. I really want to try a set of Throbak Dick Dale pickups. Oh, and this is a Starfish guitar stand.

My wife will likely never believe me again, two in a little over a month. This Non-reverse Thunderbird had to come home with me today. It’s a 2022 with a few minor issues. GC had it marked down & gave me another $100 off. The first thing I did when I got it home was bump the headstock on my ceiling fan. I usually don’t put the first nick in them so soon. The fact that it wasn’t pristine helped me deal with what I had done……….

Congrats on the sweet bass. Boy, you don't see a Wiggy every day. That's a cool amp.

The Wiggy was on local Craigslist for quite awhile. It eventually grew on me & I dragged it home.

My understanding was that Frank Zappa was in the process of designing it with Peavey before he passed away. The head was modeled after the dash of his car, (Corvette?) Dweezil picked up the torch & finished it.

P.S. Looks like it was all Dweezil............
Thanks for the link to the story.
