• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Ian A aka Tonefiend - our LPF brutha can build some guitars!!

Fred,

That guitar is just wicked killer!!!! I can't wait to hear you put it through its paces!!!:headbange

Congrats on that keeper!!!

The stinger is great Fred....may I ask why the choice of tuning machines? They look great.

Thanks Dan:salude

As far as the tuners go, I wanted something different from the standard
klusons and I had these tuners in my parts drawer. IMHO these Waverly G-98 tuners are a
MUCH bettter machine than the klusons. Also, I love the look of open back tuners against the stinger.

Man every consecutive guitar he is building is as beautiful as the one before. Just amazing!!!! He's really building up to a crescendo!!! I just hope mine will hang in there with all these gorgeous guitars!

What's the verdict tonewise now that you've had her for awhile Fred?????

Still on honeymoon.:) Don't all newly owned guitars sound and play great.:rofl

Seriously, very impressed so far. Guitar is very lively and resonate.
Still getting use to wrap-around bridge as it has a different feel to me.

Based on what I've seen and heard, I'm sure yours will hang in there with the best.:2cool
