• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

If you happen to be in Chatham MA today

...local scuttlebutt is a WTD telecom exec is having Mick and the Lads in as the wedding band. Monday Robert Kraft is having them in for a few friends. They are rehearsing right outside of Boston.

Are there any updates? Did this actually happen or was it just a false rumor?
I'm not quite near Chatham, though my parents do have a place between Falmouth and Hyannis.
|My neighbor, on the other hand, does go out to Chatham area pretty often - I think his folks live there.

Not a word- the exec i heard about was "big time" and there are some fairly remote spots on the Cape- around Chatham in particular.
Tonight in Foxboro.

Screw the Stones. These guys who travel on private jets everywhere they go couldn’t bother to go to Charlie’s funeral. Play a gig for a billionaire instead and tour as if nothing happened. He only played with them for 60 years. Btw..,,screw Clapton, too. Greedy, s.o.b.s all of them.

I looked up some articles, and it's not because they didn't care they didn't go - it's COVID restrictions. They'd been rehearsing in the States, and (|I'm presuming|) they would have had to sequester for an amount of time if they'd flown back.
Not saying it couldn't have happenned, and they certainly aren't just ignoring it.
