So, it looks like today's my 10th birthday as a member of the forum :) Man, 10 years got away in a hurry. In celebration, here's a pic of my first and so far only vintage Les Paul, a 1969 Custom in what appears to be original white finish from the 541 series. I just got her back from almost a couple years away in BCRGreg's restoration line to fix, among other things, a poorly repaired headstock crack, a plug for an extra switch that didn't do much to the added middle pickup and removal of the worst shellac spill you could imagine over the back where the original owner tried to preserve Les Paul's signature, all done by the original owner in his little Frankenstein workshop.

Thanks to Moonweasel for a nice featured posting on his site (which rules). Photography courtesy of BCRGreg, who moonlights as a fine shooter on his days off. Added one with the parts off, because I know you guys like to see tenons. Who doesn't like tenons, right? :)

Awesome Custom! I didn't even know they made white Customs that early. It looks like yours is a pretty early '69, right? You have the dotted i logo...

Thanks everybody! In replies, yes it is a little bit of a chunk, but not unwieldy. Not sure how heavy exactly. And, from Moonweasel's SN chart, it looks like it's a March 1969 shipper, but I haven't had a chance to get ledger verification yet. Definitely an I dot, long tenon.
