Hi all,

My first time posting, but I just want to say I love and appreciate you all for the great discussions available to the public.

Now, as I have in my title, I’ve found some conflicting information online about these guitars.
(They are the ones with rather nice tops, chambered bodies, 57/57 plus pickups, 60s necks and bound headstocks with the crown inlay. Great guitars.)

I am aware that at least some of these (I believe in special finishes/woods and sometimes without the bound headstock?) were limited to 400 as guitars of the week in 2007. Ex. #2, #14, #19, #27, #33

I assume that there were also regular production versions in cherry sunburst, honeyburst and vintage sunburst.
However, I’ve seen people advertise the non-guitar of the week versions as “limited to 400.”

The question is: Are these guitars actually all limited production? Or am I right to assume that only the GOW ones are limited and that there was a regular production version that is not as rare?

I’m thinking of selling one and I don’t want to wrongfully advertise it if it has been in the past.
Sorry about my ignorance if this is common knowledge that I simply cannot find.

Thanks for the advice.

Reverb was where I found a lot of that conflicting info.
But after more digging, I think I’m confident that I was right about there being limited versions and non-limited versions.
Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong though ;)

You've done your homework. The only ones that were limited to 400 each were the GOTW models. All of the rest were standard production volumes.
