• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Is there a list of Bonamassa's bursts?

I was just reading up on how Bonamassa bought the 1960 "Dirty Burst" that popped up in England. I followed a link to his instagram page where he posted one hour ago, that he just picked up a 1958 burst through a connection at Norm's.

Got me curious...anyone keep track of all the bursts he's disclosed owning over the years?

Nice list.
For the record, the 1960 "dirty burst" Joe recently acquired has no. 0 0252

9 0346 was also up for auction last year, together with some publishing rights and a '63 Vibroverb, but didn't sell, so maybe he still owns it.

Hi guys. I let Joe know that people are watching his every move with his Burst buying. He wrote back today to let me know that the serial number for the new Burst from Norm's is 8-6778 and the English one is 0-0252. He gave me permission to provide this info to the LPF. (y)

He doesn't own several of these anymore... 9 0378, 9 2810, 0 1491 are all gone. Lazarus is 9 1949?

I’m old enough to remember when Joe himself used to hang here and post. Odd that he now has to be contacted and permission granted to post here.

Oh well, I’m getting more used to being the proletariat, daily. ‘Feed ‘em cake!’ 😂

Not really understanding your cynicism. He's a really busy guy these days, if you haven't noticed. I reached out to him on a friendly basis to let him know that his Burst acquisitions are followed closely by LPFers. And he openly shared the new serial numbers with me. I was the one that felt it important to ask him if it was okay to post them here, and he said "absolutely okay."

Don't hate me because the cynical world has made me a cynic! Maybe I'm not searching correctly but I don't see "JBLPLAYER" on the member roster anymore. All I'm saying is that it was pretty cool when he did hang here and I would submit he was VERY busy at that time too. But I can only base that on how it seemed, what with engagements like the Royal Albert Hall and all. Then it appeared that as things with 'other' members went sideways, I didn't see him post much here. It just sounded a little "bougie" in my opinion.*

*CD posted a funny meme once showing a pouty kid that said, "That feeling when the bourgeois is being oppressed by the proletariat." I'm lightheartedly drawing on that one.
