If it was was Eddie Van Halen, Steve Via, Angus Young, Paco De Lucia or Eric Clapton would it be in poor taste? Because they have gotten this treatment along with many other famous guitarists. It's a joke that has been around for years. Very much seen as a badge of honor for guitarists......like a Dean Martin roast. The ONLY guitar player who has tried to take his down was Yngwie not surprisingly.
