Sorry no vid yet. Just watched it on the Grammys. He was covering an old Les Paul and Mary Ford hit playing what looked to be an R9 plugged into an old Fender tweed amp. it was awesome!!!:headbange
no offense to jeff, i just got falsely excited
Jeff was the man for the job. No offense to Jimmy.
It was incredible.
I thought the Les Paul tribute was great. When I heard them mention Jeff Beck doing a Les Paul tribute I thought for sure he'd come out with the oxblood. Looked like a nice RI though.
The other two performances on the show were very good were Lady Antebellum and the Michael Jackson tune. I don't get Taylor Swift winning so many awards. Hopefully her studio recordings are better because he live performance was way off key. A lot of the other performances seem to be more about the visual than the music itself. I guess I was feeling a little old watching the show because good ol' classic rock style music isn't even represented anymore. Too much rap and R&B for my tastes.
Did I just see JB play chord progressions? I must have dreamt it.
Thats Imelda May, Irish singer. Rockabilly mainly.
if that was live- what was done to her voice? Or were the four other singers somewhere?
