I don't have the answer to that, but I do know that re-amping played a much larger role than I originally thought. Like Good Times Bad Times was likely the Supro re-amped through a Leslie. Black Dog was a convoluted chain with DI 2 compression stages, and two re-amps.Cool! Jimmy Page was one of my major influences as a teenager.
He is the main reason that I bought an acoustic guitar over an electric......when I could finally afford one.
I'd really like to know how he got that Leslie speaker effect on Down By The Seaside. Does he mention it in the book?
