• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I love the cover, but I want to bitch slap the interviewer. He asked one question about the bursts. It's a freakin' guitar magazine for God's sake.:wow

I'm relishing in the painfully obvious, created by the title, and the cover photo.
:salude Congratulations to you, Joe B. :salude It's your time. This Bonaholic needs a drink......

Joe is the only one who brings bursts on stage nowadays!

well..Paul Mccartney,Jimmy Page and Mark Knopfler still play their bursts live,
but I know what you mean-he is one of the few keeping the spirit alive!
Congrats Joe!:salude

There are several others, including Greg Martin.

And more "amateurs" than you might think. :ganz

Face it. the interest these days in "vintage" bursts are limited to those of us who grew up in their wake, and the VERY few (compared to when WE were coming up) that are influenced by the relics of another time and era.

Can you even tune a burst down to C#?

I strongly doubt that! :hmm And I think that Joe B. might be the perfect example, why ...
