• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Great audio pleasure, impossible for me to watch his facial expressions though. :dude:

re: buckle rash

Yes, that was my first thought as well! I hate to imagine what the back of that guitar looked like after a few gigs with that belt!

Check "Roy Buchannon's" cover of that tune on the "Guitar On Fire" album.

Those are some impossibly cool rock facial expressions. Man that guy could play. It is always straight from the heart with Joe. He is one of the very few who could write, sing, and play at a very high level.

Never get tired of this one, but the Barnstorm version is superior to the later one he did...

I never get tired of that video. I was i big Joe Walsh fan in those days. Recently heard an old live release from The James Gang, damn, they were a fine band!

I loved the tone he got with the 335. There used to be a clip on YouTube of him and Felder doing Turn to Stone, Felder with the Strat and Joe with the 335. What a chop fest.

love that song...big fan of Walsh. I watch that video and all I can think of is ...that poor burst... quite the buckle action going on there.

Oh dear.

If I had realised what psychological harm the belt buckle might inflict, I wouldn't have uploaded the video :)
