Merriweather Post Pavillion, August '79 I believe. I lived in DC area (NoVA) from '77-'84 -- what an AMAZING music scene at the time. Root Boy Slim, Seldom Scene, Danny Gatton, Slickee Boys, Tex Rabinowitz, etc. etc. etc. Plus I used to take my guitars over to Annapolis so some guy named Paul Reed Smith could work on them. I'm inclined to agree. Joni Mitchell is probably the most underrated musician in history.There's never been a greater band assembled.
