• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

the 20 watt 1x12 Fane combo, please tell me more about it. Construction, curcuit, tone, weight, price. I don't know why, but it has me very intrigued.

I was on the phone with Kim last night.....he played a few licks thoughthat amp for me to hear with his great R8. Sounds VERY nice. Over the phone (not the best tone source, I know) it had a real 60's British Blues tone but more highs and cut better.

Looks REALLY cool too!!

You can find this on the HIWATT site under news.
I think Keith Scott had a two ten and requested a one twelve .
This is it.

Bryan Adams On Friday night Bryan Adams played the brand new football stadium in Doncaster. It was also his long time guitarists 53rd birthday. We built a special custom 20w 1x12" combo in white engraved with the guitarists name "Keith Scott" on the front control panel. The amplifier was given to Keith Scott (right) by Hiwatts general manager Mark Lodge (centre)and Hiwatts Managing Director Richard Harrison (left).
Keith was delighted with his gift and said that he couldn't wait to try it out! He also said that he often looks on the Hiwatt website at the models and news.

Those amps made be Rick Harrison's Music Ground are a disgrace to the HIWATT name. They are HIWATT In Name Only!

No offense to you guys that know nothing about the man or his company, but neither he, his company or their amps can hold a candle to the Reeves family or real hiwatts.

I've got some Hilight era stuff and I recently got a little Custom 20 combo.
As far as I know the 20 watt all tube combos come with 10" speakers. I haven't looked at the guts of mine, it's prolly one of the PCB models, though now they are making a PTP version.
