Hope some day I can own 10 Les Pauls.
And That 50's Les Paul sounds AWESOME, and I bet it does sound AWESOME!!!
I just got finished swapping the Chrome Hardware on my Les Paul to black and I love it. I used all Gibson DIRECT drop-In replacement parts that are all same spec. I changed my Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates to the Pegasus/Sentient set, and haven't decided whether I am going to keep them in there or not. I may end up putting the Pearly Gates back in because they did sound amazing, and if it aint broke don't fix it type of thing. But I'm going to give this new set a week or two, so they have a fair shake 1st. Still waiting on the black speed knobs and the black strap locks, they should arrive today!
