Hi everyone.
Before you say it, it’s not a noisy pot, I am on my third set.
So when I turn my volume around 8 and 9 I get noise, like a noisy pot. The same on other types of pot i have tried in the same location around 8 and 9. When I’m actually playing and there is sound through the amp and I adjust the volume it is quite bad. There is no noise if no sound through the amp, even if I adjust volume. But it seems worse on lower frequencies, still noticeable on bridge but not as bad. Neck pickup is worse than Bridge. I have 50s wiring with oil in paper bumblebee (rip off Emerson caps) classic 57 neck, 57+ in th bridge.

anyideas?

I have this with all CTS pots. I think its as the pot wiper passes from the carbon track to the metal end that is part of the solder tag. It happens at at the other end from 1-0 on mine. The noise is also louder if the guitar is outputting sound. I have some far eastern guitar pots that don't do it and I'm sure that conductive plastic track pots won't do either.
