Came across this video yesterday and it's freaking awesome. I normally don't care for the creator, The Neurotic Guitarist, but I couldn't pass this one up and I'm glad I didn't.

After watching it, I couldn't be prouder than to finally own a Les Paul guitar. He was a phenomenal musician and one hell of a human being. Am I a Les Paul fanboy? You're damn right I am. He's Les Freakin' Paul!

Just watch. This is a very cool video with some really great stories about Les and the guy who was his best friend for the last 29 years of his life, Benny Wysocki. I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did. The stories about Les are the best part. By far. Billy even talks about the origin of 'Pearly Gates'.

Watching Billy go through the Les Paul museum is great. You can tell he absolutely loved Les. He's definitely in awe of everything he's seeing. I would be too and I ain't even Billy G lol

Thanks for posting! Good one.

I thought so, too. The stories about Les by Benny, his best friend were the best. That mailbox incident changed his life forever...

"He hands me some tapes....'Here! This is my music! I like it!'"

🤣🤣🤣

I've watched it 3 or 4 times now. Les really sounded like a heck of a friend. I'd have done the same thing Benny did and took everything home that he insisted I "throw away". Benny said his house started looking like Les' house inside with stuff stacked everywhere! I bet it did lol.

I'll make it to the museum one of these days.
