• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Let’s see your most convincing looking reissue!

That's what happens when the Washed Cherry starts to fade, if becomes a sight of cool beauty. I have the regular gloss IT that is a while to take the shade it would become.
They are one of the nicest cool finishes out there.(y)

Don’t know how close they are to looking like an authentic burst, but here are my CC13 and Frehley Burst. Both have Wizz pickups and rings, Montreux Plastic parts (switch tip, poker chip, pick guard and truss rod cover) & Creamtone knobs and aged milk bottle Grovers.

I love your Frehley burst and I can just imagine smoke and fire coming out of the neck pickup while belting out some Cold Gin 🌞

Did you not like the stock pickups in the spoonful burst or were you just looking for something else? I found the pickups in my #13 to be about as close to original pat’s as any of my lesters. Just curious

I think the stock Custombuckers are great sounding pickups and my CC13 has incredible natural sustain. Had I known, I would have just changed the wiring harness (installed Throbak) and left them in, however I love the unpotted A4 pickups too in terms of sound and look.

I ended up removing the covers from Custombuckers and installed them in my old 2002 standard.F5D3E85A-0F1C-4766-AD98-A7FF3380A1FB.jpegF5D3E85A-0F1C-4766-AD98-A7FF3380A1FB.jpeg

My HM CC#1 Greenie replica. All hardware and plastics from Vintage Haven and pickups were custom wound and aged by James at Re-Wind. Beyond the looks, it’s definitely my most vintage-sounding guitar too.View attachment 12853View attachment 12854
that looks like the spitting image of Greenie . I mean it's a work of art and a beauty ! You have the out of phase mid position and the magnet flip right ?
