Let’s talk parts that they can’t get right

In respect to the custom shop Les Paul’s of the last 5 years, what parts are gibson not getting right???
A friend of mine is a machinist and makes all sorts of parts from scratch. Im actually pretty fascinated with what he tells me he’s able to make, and I was showing him some guitar parts to see what he might be able to replicate. Any ideas,?
