• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

LP Standard specs through the years?

I thought there was a pinned thread on this site that summarized all the differences in spec and hardware through the years, but I can't find it anymore. Maybe it was embedded in another thread? The website that covers all the Traditional models is very informative and I would love to see a similar source for other LP models.
Does anyone know of such a site or database?

Yes it would, but the big G went bat shit crazy with a gazzillion variations of the carved maple cap mahogany, twin pickup single cutaway STANDARD platform in recent decades. Specs changed almost yearly, sometimes mid year and the model was further subdivided with ever changing varients with different names like Classic, Traditional, Modern, Pro, Professional, et al while still offering a Standard that it becomes a job that needs a book to address.

Yeah I see how that can be a near impossible task. It would be interesting to have a database where anyone that has a stock LP could input whatever information they had so we could see a representation of all the possibilities by year.
