• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Still in Melbourne, Australia. Now that the vaccination numbers are climbing into the 80%’s, it looks like we may be able to enjoy some freedoms by Christmas.
Keeping our fingers crossed.

Get vaccinated everyone. It's the only way we are going to slow the spread and move toward a next normal. Hundreds of millions of vaccinations have proven they are safe and effective. And those who aren't vaccinated are at risk, especially with the Delta variant. I'm a healthcare worker responsible for 92 hospitals in 22 states, and trust me, you don't want to end up in the ICU on a ventilator. Also, for those who value individual rights over vaccination, if they aren't thinking about yourself and those adults around them, then asl them to please at least think about our children who have no access to vaccines as of yet.
I support everything Mike says - as a 'Burst owner, and medical professional!

GET VACCINATED, EVERYONE

Greetings from the midwest USA. We are up to no good just as you suspected.

Okay.
Recovering from a cataract op., otherwise all back to normal in my world.
Covid ain't going anywhere, time to get on with life. What happens, happens.
Good luck! I had my cataract operations in the fall of 2019, before everything went pear-shaped the following year. But it's great after over 45 years to not to have wear glasses everywhere!

Thanks Ed. I've had glaucoma for a few years, so sight's still iffy, but there's been a big improvement on how it was for the last year.
As far as the vaccination, yeah, if you're over 50, as I suspect most on here are, get it done.

Really glad that everyone is doing ok.

Covid aside, I'd hoped that some of the veterans of the board, and the massive contributions that they've made here over the years, would pop in and say hello.

The past is the past.

Just a ping fellas, that's all that's needed.

General Washington thought enough about the health of his revolutionaries that he got them all vaccinated against small pox. It was a mandate...and it worked...and it was a far more patriotic act than just about any that followed.

He lost more men to small pox than in battle

Hello.

Still OK here, in deepest Norfolk, England.

Had my 71st birthday yesterday (30th September). Met 'er indoors 50 years ago yesterday, on my 21st.

Back to gigging again in the last few weeks.

Ho hum.

Many happy returns for yesterday, oh and Happy Anniversary of you meeting your Good Lady.

50 years is something to write home about.

Best of British to you both John.

Still hanging in there in the bottom left hand corner of the US (San Diego, CA). Was able to get my urolift procedure done over the summer. If your considering it, mine went really well. Amazing to be able to sleep thru the night again. The joys of getting older.
