• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Super Leads definitely have 4 speaker outs. They can push 4 cabinets pretty hard still.

That volume is definitely a PPIMV in the pics.
Frankie,

Thanks, good to know that it is a PPIMV. Thought it might be but was not positive. This amp isn't as pristine as my '71 50 watter but it has original iron and, other than the MV, appears to just have typical replacement of bad caps, resistors, screen grids, etc plus I put in some NOS LCR caps I had bought when you could still find those. I struggle with putting it back to stock condition but without an original speaker jack, it would be a waste since that would be a pretty obvious "non-original" part to the naked eye. Still a firebreather with Mullard EL34's and ECC83 throughout. A January head which is why it is a '73 PTP. Not a plexi but still a good sounding Marshall none the less.

Really not much different in that '73 and the famous '68. It's not stock anyway, so you could convert it back by changing a couple of values, but I wouldn't even worry about it.

That's the old style PPIMV setup with the caps to filter DC so you don't jack up your whole bias by changing the volume, but definitely a PPIMV.
