This is a bit of an unusual looking EDS 1275, as both the necks are 6-string instead of the 6-string and 12-string necks that are found on most EDS 1275 models.
Does anyone have more information about this EDS 1275 Martin is playing? Like when was it in his possession, what tracks did he use it on?

Considering Martin was almost exclusively using Les Pauls during this time, it may (or may not) be a prop, or it was rented/borrowed. My other theory is that Martin had this Gibson EDS 1275 custom ordered, given its unusual neck design. But just let me know.

On the other hand, check out John Glascock playing a Gibson Thunderbird bass with a pick through an Ampeg SVT.

I think that could be a late-'50s era Gibson EMS-1235 with a six-string mandolin neck on top.
