Max Les Paul question

Hi Max!
I have seen serveral of your Les Paul Sunburst guitars and I even had the pleasure of playing two of them. One question however popped up in my mind: Have Gibson ever bugged you for building better and more acurate Les Pauls then them? I hope I don´t give them any ideas…

hi guys, actually you'd be surprised at how much contact i have had with gibson. all very amicable. i was visited many times at my shop in LA. they always had questions about my materials and procedures. i actually did some work for them once. i think i still have the billing invoice to prove it. and now i must fade off into the sunBURST.
