Hello everyone. I purchased this pretty clean Medallion#338 recently. Grovers added, originals in the case. I also put another period correct abr-1 on,as the original was sunk/curved down. It has since been fixed and is in the case. Oddly this shipped in a late sixries case rectangle case that has the intact medallion coin on it. This is my first Flying V,and im really amazed at the punchy articulate tone it gives. Real expressive and touch sensitive play on this. She has minimal/normal wear. I bought it from a guy who has owned it since 1973. In fact ,I have watched him play it in his popular cover bands most of that time. These are seldom seen these days in the usual sale sites. I paid nearly current vintage price guide money for it,and Im happy with that choice. The frets are seventies style/small. Im torn between a refret or playing as is. I would prefer a fret job,as i plan to play it often. Im also an older guy who will be faced with selling down the road and hate to devalue this rare bird. Would you guys consider a refret no no? Cheers...Mike.
