• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Michael Stevens' ability to capture classic looks with modern and sonically superb designs deserves some recognition on this forum. Most of you will know of him but for those who don't, here are a few of his beautiful creations.

Mike is the man. A true pioneer in this business. He reinvented that "Dog hair" finish, not to mention all his other uniquely creative finishes and design elements he does. Really fantastic person as well.

Someday I'll have him build me one of his basses. :)

I had a '57 "Ferden" Strat that MS had assembled in his shop in the '80s. It was a far cry from what he's done since!

I've seen Jr. Brown a few times. One in particular I stood in front about 2 feet from the Guitsteel soaking up every last detail while he wailed away like a maniac on the thing. It was great! :D

I too have done that on a couple of occasions. It was insane. Jnr was/is so in tune with his Guit-Steel, it was/is scary.
