• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I don't know whether to be surprised or not that more of these guitars aren't spoken for by forum brethren. It's definitely a niche guitar, but I'm telling anyone reading, these are ultra special. I've talked to at least 4 dealers who have said these are some of the best guitars they have seen come out of the CS, and it's not simply cosmetics.

On another note, can someone with a signed version describe if the signature/SN portion get in the way of playing? Thx.

I thought it may at a first glance, but alas, it doesn't. :jim

Thanks. I'm sure you know where I am headed with this question. :hmm I just played my Aged version to see the consequences of "if signed". Seems to be no issues.

I tried to buy #50, but couldn't work it out. It's sold now. #9 is back in stock at WW now. Must have been returned, or it came off of hold.

Must have sold already because it now appears to be gone.

Appears so.

I find it interesting that WW has not sold VOS #13. I played it alongside other MMs at WW. It was the most resonant of them all. I guess people are scared by the 9.1lbs. Funny how that works. Lower weights can mean jack squat.

Rockland-music.de in Germany has one left. This is the shop where I bought mine. They just got one extra signed/aged version. #46

Man, all the guitars in this thread look an awful lot alike! What a coincidence! :hee

BTW - What exactly is that spot above the bridge pup? Looks like it was worn down, then refinished over top. Is that what is going on with the original?

On the reissue it is worn down to the wood. Here is a close up of MM's Burst.
