Thanks, Bryan - St. Patrick's Day will have you do some goofy stuff, huh? :biglaugh:

The ironic thing is that we see that same kind of sniping from a particular little segment of members here who constitute "Cub Scout Troop 666" (a selected handful of members of the vintage Les Paul 'conversion' crowd... you won't have to think too hard to know which members I'm talking about :ahem )

Mofinco...I posted this over there...

Hey, he'd be welcome here to discuss his guitar ANYTIME...!

Besides, it looks like he's earning some kind of living with that guitar
and not just spanking it in his basement and I gotta respect that!

and these links to other forums is NOT a good idea when being
critical - we don't want to start a forum war with our friends out
there...We have ETSG members all over the web.

And besides, the '61 LP/SG was one of the BEST LP's ever made!
If he has issues with that guitar why not INVITE him over to disuss them?

Cool, Vic. They can invite me all they want. I'm not a member there for a reason... I don't have issues with my guitar - they do. I have nothing to defend. It's all good for a laugh though... :lol :salude

:salude Here's my defense - I was getting paid, fed, and boozed, and I ain't even gonna mention what 'benefit' I got after load-out. All while wearing a green plastic hat. Life could be worse... :2lol

Yup. Obviously not AVH enough for those fellas. :toobad

The funny thing is that the person who started it had the URL for the detail page from my web site... I'm guessing it's someone here who saw it and posted it over there. Obviously didn't have the courage to speak up here. :ahem Oh, well, I'm sure having fun with the guitar... The green plastic hat didn't hurt me none, either... ;)

As for one who owns a '61 SG/LP and the rather gaudy '64 in my avatar, you've got nothing to be ashamed about Mofinco. I once had another early SG, too. 4-digit SN: 6776. Wish I still had that one. Play on, my man, play on....
