All Murphy is doing (and don't take this as bad) is supplying you with a guitar that is further from an original spec 58,59,60 than a standard custom shop.
He is aging the guitar with the spray.
Ya see...nitro CONTINUES TO DRY OVER YEARS.
In 65 years a CS will look like a 59 does today.
The Murphy finish will have all fallen off...
But it will resemble a true 59 because it's finish will be mostly gone too unless you put it in a nitrogen filled case and don't touch it.
