Music Zoo 1953 Wraptail Les Paul

It's a pretty looking guitar, but the listing has some weasel words that would worry me: plastic parts old enough to be original, sanded down cavity cover?, frets look too new but they're not going to say it's a refret for sure... And $24,999 might be reaching a bit? Anybody know this guitar?

How does one sand the cavity lip larger? That is some ninja skill, right there. Mayhap the template was a bit off?

...fwiw, I'm not saying there's any reason to mistrust Music Zoo, just saying that Buzzy's main business for decades has been vintage and that combined with a pretty good reputation has a lot of merit IMO.

& for the record, I have bought Gibson Historic/Custom shop from Music Zoo with great success several times.
