• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

looks great! Is the finish just clear or did you tint it?

It's a second 58 V with a blackguard. I got two kits because they had one in closeout stock because of some figuring in the Korina at the crotch of the "V" and it was marked down quite a bit. I wanted to get started! I also thought that the one I had ordered would take a long time to deliver (it didn't) LOL I sourced all the parts double! It was a learning curve on finding the parts! Also, the skid rubber and routing jig was a bit of a pain in the ass LOL I do think the kits are really-really good. I had Starr Guitars here in Orlando do the work, they do excellent work! The Explorer should be very nice and a bit easier to part source!

It's lightly ambered and I believe that part coloring to these is a touch of the base yellow(used on bursts)...
