Welcome to the Black Beauty group Andy. Your guitar looks great. I have to wonder how Gibson squeeze another 0.7lbs into yours! I bought my 87 new from a store in Glasgow and weighs in at 9.8lb. It's been through a few subtle cosmetic mods over the years but all original parts are kept. It's currently almost all the way through it's Brian Robertson mode; just needs the pup covers removed. Can't beat a LPC and a Marshall stack.

I dig that look. Been tempted to change parts on mine to look like yours. Mine is 9 lbs on the nose.

New amp, job done I don’t need anything else!

Still enjoying my Black Custom. For the last four months I've been in a new band that's got regular gigs, and this is the guitar I always use. I've been using it with a 50w JCM900 combo, but may take the SV20h to the next gig!

My 2022 Black Beauty 57RI (BB7) VOS. I’ve owned 20 Gibson LPs in my day (7 of which are/were CS) and obviously played countless others in stores. This is the single best bone stock LP (heck, any guitar) I’ve ever played. I’m an inveterate guitar tinkerer, but this one I’ve left bone stock and it’ll stay that way. Just glorious!
