• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Up and down the basses go.
Ain’t got a Gibson
That plays it low.
Lefties are often
Left out it’s so.
But I’d like a Ripper
Don’t you know.

But I like the value of this spam.

For his basses, enthused I am!
The font you’ve chosen here
Is darkish so most unclear
I don’t mean to bark or bite
But dawg, can’t you use white?

So good to see you. Are you still rocking your B&Gs?

Fer sure I be rockin' the B&G
And my fonts that are dark and hard to see
Are intended to show my brains machinations
That probably should not be shown publicly...

Well then you have reason,
So use a darker type
Yer posts are always pleasin’
And never stoop to hype

Elrick made this one for me
In which the pickups are active electronically

But my B&G has sound that's massive
Even though the pickups be passive

I want a lefty like your B&G
It’s a gut rumbling fantasy
It certainly would thrill me
But my girlie would kill me
Damn! (Poetic license)

Crossroads are great as well
But getting them in this country ain't easy as hell
I was surprised a bit slight
When my guitar was shown on their site

Because when supplying the beat with some melody
The additional strings don't allow for "meedely-meedely-mee"
Unless you hands be hugely large
Six string basses feel like playing a barge...

As exponents of the four string dodge go

you'd have to sail all the seas to and fro

to find a geezer that can get it down

as beautifully as the great Ray Brown

Though Gibson basses are not the fav,
They seem to be what I mostly crave,
I tend to buy them more & more,
Here’s a shot of EB-0 to 4

P.S. Many awesome basses in this thread!

Stellar, really. Thanks for this shot!
