This camera is awesome. It's a Fuji Finepix S5000.

We had bought a Sony Cybershot, but took it back when we saw the great shots one of the members over at TFF was getting with this camera. WAY better camera, and we got it for just $10 more than we paid for the Sony. It has a 10x zoom too, as compared to the 3x zoom on the Cybershot.

I am psyched! :dude

Yeah, they're a couple of great little guys! How many pups have you got now. That's not the one you've posted before is it? This is great, we haven't done a dog pic thread in ages.

Yep, it's Chumley. The dog with a million nicknames. (His real name is Bonehead.) He's getting a very white face and chunky body in his mature years. Gotta love him. :)

These pics are AWESOME! :dude

Heritage, I know this sounds weird, but does that dog like iceburg lettuce?

Thanks Lily! Yes, as a matter of fact she loves iceburg (as did our previous dearly departed Gordon). Tomatoes too (right off the vine unfortunately!). It's kind of strange, must be "crunch thing" with lettuce because she won't touch Boston Bib or any of the soft leaf stuff.

I KNEW it!

I used to work at a veterinary clinic/boarding kennels. One of my favorite boarders was an eccentric Gordon setter whose humans always made sure to bring a couple of heads of lettuce - it was her "treat of choice". I would deliver pieces of lettuce to her every chance I got. :)

Anyone into birds? I just took a couple shots of this blue jay out of the window by my office (triple panes of glass). Sorry for the blur - this guy does NOT hold still.

That camera rocks Lily!

The phrase "eccentric Gordon" is extremely redundant!!:lolspin

I'm not sure, Mark. I just know the bluejays here on the west coast are VERY different from those back east. I need to get a book....

The squirrels are different as well. This is a Douglas squirrel. I have a bunch of them hanging around all the birdseed and peanuts. :) I LOVE them. Again, sorry for the blur, he will NOT strike a pose for long. I'll try to get a better shot. :)
