Thanks you so much, appreciate it! I’ve been using the Wampler Tumnus and love it, but the TS9 is pretty cool too. Can’t wait to try the channels out!Nice, congratulations.
I’ve owned quite a few 4-hole Marshall’s and want another one. I’ve owned a 1987x 1974x’s, a ‘69 Marshall Popular, and the combo versions of your amp, two 1962HW Bluesbreaker’s and a 1962RI Bluesbreaker. JTM’s are some of the best sounding Marshall’s in my opinion. My 1962HW’s were super loud. I never had any luck with attenuators with my amp.
After many OD pedals used to get some overdrive at reasonable levels I found that a Greer “Lightspeed” worked the best with the 1962HW. A very transparent low-gain Overdrive that retained my amps great tone and helped with the volume. For higher gain I used a J-Rockett “Dude” OD pedal.
I ran my amps with the channels jumped most of the time but sometimes just into channel 2. You will see that you will still get some channel bleed even with the amp not jumped. Experiment with the Volume controls and jumping channels and not jumping channels.
Congratulations again and enjoy.
Cheers!Congrats! Amazing amp!
