paul banks of interpol has this cool custom that i adore, and want to build a tribute to. only problem is, i've no clue what pickups are in it. dont think they're shaws, as there is no holes in the bobbins where there should be. bonus points if y'all can see if its a nashville or abr-1 bridge. thanks.

it sure SHOULD have had shaw pickups in it. You're gonna need to talk to his guitar tech.

Customs and "59 flame tops" should've had Shaws even in 86. The bill Lawrence were very common in the SG's..

Bridge pickup is odd. Looks like half of a Tim Shaw. Maybe the slug bobbin went dead and he or his tech replaced it. Bridge is Nashvillesque, but I don't think it is a Gibson bridge. I think I actually have the exact one with same saddles in black somewhere. Probably something aftermarket.

tried contacting him and finding out who his tech is, but to no avail. i may just put some shaws or a shaw clone in it, as his backup guitar for tours [and some recording] had shaws. hopefully i’ll get a lead someday soon.
