• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

This is pretty much what I think. Oddly enough, you can find the screws pointing in either direction in in photos of some old Gibson catalogs.

j45 and all,

Based upon all the replies, I've decided to leave the bridge as is with its nylon saddles and screws facing the tailpiece. Flipping it around would mean I'd have to switch the low E saddle with the high E one and so on, because of the string slot widths now being on the wrong end. It's already intonated in its present state, so I'm just going to play the heck out of it as it is!

One final question, where could I buy Gibson/Kluson Deluxe double ring tuners? I recall the ones available new from Gibson these days are only single ring. Will I have to find vintage ones at vintage prices? Or is one of the vendors out there selling new double ring green key tuners?

Thanks again for all the help and advice!

Rev.,

Thank you for your kind words. I'm happy that the pictures I took came out clear enough for you to see what I have here. I'm also pleased to share pictures of this guitar with all on this forum.

Happy (belated) New Year to you!

Regards,
