How 'bout: (I think some of these have been done before...)
1) 7-string neck (and pickups) but otherwise regular old R9 reissue Les Paul.
2) One-piece top.
3) Brand new as if from the factory in 1958-1960. (This may fit in with the "shiny: request.)
4) Explorer / Firebird headstock BUT it still says Les Paul (Could be cool with the z-string.)
5) A Les Paul "Light" with the thin body/contouring from the '80s and '90s - but otherwise a normal reissue.
6) A sunburst custom with two or three pickups.
7) A tenor Les Paul but otherwise a regular reissue.
8) An Irish bouzouki (or an octave mandolin) - but as a reissue Les Paul
9) Banjo Les Paul - 5-string and tenor 4-string.

AND - When will Gibson reissue the spruce topped hollow EMS1235/EDS1275? I'm ready for a white EMS1235 with a six-string octave above a regular six-string (with Bigsby) and black stingers, serial number in red or yellow. I'd like the regular six-string pickups to be magnetically out of phase and maybe Grovers too, but just on this neck...maybe. Black bonnet knobs. (Take my money!)

- An R8 with a natural Korina top
- An R9/R0 with slightly figured tops and a natural fading like the originals (not VOS)
- A Les Paul Custom 57 in aged pelham blue
- An SG 61 in natural korina like the 1993 limited ones
