I bought one From ZZounds with case.

I need a semi ES 335 type tone with the new band, and I"m not taking my '68 Gibson ES 335 out of the house.
waiting for delivery.
Anyone have one already, report please.

I don't know much about the 335 per se, but the Inspired By line has been getting some great reviews.

I got one in Pelham Blue. The frets feel rough and I need to take care of that but otherwise I like it. Sounds nice through my Marshall amps.

Hope you like yours!

My CS 339 is 6# 10.4 OZ.

Took me a long time to find pickups that worked well in it but now it really screams with bog standard Wizz.

Nice!
I had one just ike it a few years ago. It had the 59 neck. (Gibson CS ES 339-9 and the ABR1 tune-o-matic)
I liked it but actually sold it because I was using my Les Paul exclusively.
bought it for 1500, sold it for 1500. Believe they are $2k for a used one now.

The fat neck ones are cool, mine is a sunburst with some curl and birdseye.

PS
the delivered Epiphone 339 needed 4 frets leveled and weighed 8.1 pounds, so I worked and worked at set up then finally sent it back.
Im now waiting for a cherry red one. I'm just drawn this semi 339 for some reason. I do not need another guitar, especially a Chinese one. But, they are a great value.. (If you get a good one.)

Bought a new Gibson ES 339. Much nicer in every way. Of course. 7.3 pounds.
But ....
I'm struggling with the Memphis tone circuit.

I had a '68 ES335 for 40+ years and after I sold it and missed it I bought a black Epiphone 339 to fill the void. I remember when "off shore" Epiphones were an embarrassment but am very pleased with the stuff they have been putting out the last several years. These are at least as good and mostly better than many 1970s Gibsons. Good neck, pretty good build quality and the pickups are staying- even with the pull on coil taps. I did a fret dress when I got it but I would have probably had to do that on any new guitar to be satisfied. That and nut work are two things that seem to be overlooked by manufacturers anymore. All in all a pretty good guitar and a real good value.
